I don’t know…checked my history…it’s like I must have just stumbled on it somehow. What drew me in was the idea that you could leverage NFTs to fund public goods in a democratic way and that DAO was already pulling it off in such a short time.

Noadz is the project that really made things “click” and made me realize that Nouns was the right place for me to start. I had a somewhat similar project in mind and it just clicked that Nouns was missing piece. I couldn’t sleep…ended up working all night on it. A few days later and now I’m here diving deeper.
If you could teach everyone on Earth one thing about crypto, what would it be?
That people are generally very kind to newcomers in this space and willing to help.

Hi all! I’m ABSTRCT, happy to be apart of the Nouns community.
I was first brought to Nouns through a partner and friend of mine who took a liking to the project. I really admire the strong community and innovation that has been happening around the project and hope to continue to that mission myself. A couple of the most interesting ones are all the collaborations with different artists and the different forms that Nouns can take.
I have been a proprietor of the crypto landscape for awhile now, and I would employ anyone to dig deeper into it if they can. It’s a world full of possibilities. I also love electronic music and I am 100% of a barbarian.
I am currently invested in my own Nouns inspired project: Abstract Noun. It’s a little mix of fine art, AI generation, and the reason we’re all here (the Nouns, duh!) I’m excited to be here and eager to make my mark on the Nouns project.

What first brought you to Nouns?
Stumbled across the Nouns while looking into DAO’s around a month or so after the project had been launched. Loved the approach to building an on-chain community/org, and the idea around CC0 and proliferation.

Really love the idea of the Prop House and potential new mechanisms for capital deployment. I think sub-DAOs working as extensions of the Nouns ecosystem have a lot of potential as well for proliferation/creation.
If you could teach everyone on Earth one thing about crypto, what would it be?
Interoperability, I think this is one of the biggest value adds of the blockchain that the majority of people don’t really quite get, but the use cases are endless.

Do nouns somehow steer the treasury towards unexpected ways and how does that impact the virtuous cycle?
If you could teach everyone on Earth one thing about crypto, what would it be? That crypto is what we all want it to be and how much work we put it into. So many people on both extremes, some thinking it’s inherently the savior of the world (which it’s not) and others thinking it’s all bullshit (which it’s provably not). Basically, let’s make cool shit that people want and by doing so we are the conjurers of real value

Nouns are a process (for me). Disbelief first, gradual acceptance and respect, moving over into warm fuzzies and the desire to share and promote.

At first it was the posts from 4156 on twitter, and then reading through the website. This is such a unique project and that is immensely attractive.

The Randy’s Donuts proposal had me in stitches. I love the openness of the community, the construction of the auction process is brilliant, and I am very interested in on-chain projects. At this point, I am merely a lostnoun, but will continue to follow the auctions and hope to be a part of the nouns soon. The 3D project is great, and the extensive experimental menu feels both fun and intellectually challenging. The idea of a generative on-chain “hedge fund” is just really cool!

Last spring I painted a 10-foot Punk ape wearing a blue bandana on a warehouse wall as part of a charity project…turns out it belonged to 4156. When he turned toward Nouns, I followed but didn’t have the budget to jump ALL the way in.

I wish more people understood that there’s far more to crypto and NFTs than what you read in a headline. NFTs, for example, are much more than a cartoon jpeg. They’re a platform for the future.
