Could you support five sailing teams for a year with 135 eth, which is 2.25 eth per a month, per a team?
We are going to work hard all year to promote Nouns! We are going to show you our practices, races, maintanance days. We will show you chill cruising and extreme competitions! We will dedicate time to learn not common to us as racers sailing maneuvers such as figure sailing, cascade formations. We want to continue working with Nouns because we believe there will be many interesting opportunities for collaborations with big brand and sailing communities around the world that would bring nouns to a new exciting heights.
Sailing is one of prestigious sports that can be used to open doors for nouns to collaborations with big brands.
We are going to display nouns logos in different cities around Korea and make amazing content for sns.
Some of the best locations include places with beach, island, and heavy industry landscapes.
We are going to bring Nouns community with us to J/24 Worlds Championship! Every sailor dreams to participate in J/24 worlds (List of J/24 championships - Wikipedia). All teams will be honored to represent Nouns in such a big sailing competition.
We are going to regularly post on sns and compile a coffee table photo book with best photos similar to books Sailing America Hardcover and LIFE. The book will be distributed to nouners and available on amazon. We also going to send copies to coffee shops and hotels around korea.
Sailing is an art. Here, are a few photos from my film camera, imagine similar style photos compiled into a nounish magazine

Testimonials
- Adrianmcli (noun261, 449) @fiveoceans_dev was the reason I bought my second Noun. I was amazed at how someone could be so passionate about Nouns. His execution was more impressive than anything I’ve seen in most NFT projects. Being there in person and on his boat allowed me to see the power of the Nouns community being expressed in real life.
- JoelCares (nouncillor)
I’m a simple man. I like boats. I like Noggles. I like fiveoceans_dev. I want to see these videos. My only request: you have to win.

P.S.
Meantime we are going to think more how to make this prop more interesting and incorporate comments that we received from community.
For example, we have a few new ideas:
Organize a Nouns sailing parade in collaboration with Manhattan Yacht Club in June 2023 during NYC NFT. We can gather people and sail in the fleet of 10 boats from Brooklyn bridge to the Statue of Liberty.
Build a 10 x 22 meter floating dock with big logo of noggles
Although I loved the pictures produced from prop 102, I personally don’t think 13 ETH for a photoshoot is a good use of the treasury funds.
There is only so much the photos and videos can do by themselves, and if there is no plan for how these specific photos would push Nouns to new places and audiences, I don’t see the costs justified.
In leave this here in hopes of being as helpful as possible. This isn’t really about just the boats. It’s addressing the low hanging fruit of “eye ball” activations one can pay for.
The primary issue here for me, after careful review, is it “preaches to the choir.” Placing nouns imagery everywhere all around the world without them meaning something to the viewer or then having somewhere to send the viewer to develop such meaning, is often perceived as marketing noise, if seen at all.
We are too accustomed to being bombarded by imagery and being marketed to… especially for something in such formative years like nouns, IMO nouns should be making 10,000 micro moves to become one with culture vs marketing to it.
Being discovered in places which mean something to us vs repeat images on paid for surfaces impacts culture in a wildly different manner.
The boats in Korea are fun for us to see… 100% impressive if you’re in here and already a fan… but what has been done in Seoul as a follow up in the days since the boat event… Nouns is still at square one in Korea. Our potential audience in Seoul no longer notices the giant statues at COEX and inflatable (insert brand here) at the lake near Lotte Tower.
I love the spirit and admire any person who has found their way here to nouns this early. But having spent so many years building “care” vs “awareness” in Seoul and NYC, I felt compelled to add here.
Repeated high visibility foot traffic activations are pricey in relation to their true impact and in general, like most marketing in regards to a brand based on characters in it’s infancy, don’t work, if we define our measure of successful proliferation as getting new people to care about nouns and fall in love with / become mavens of the protocol.
Hi, thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. Your feedback is always appreciated.
I feel responsible that nouns did not continue building momentum in Korea since the focus of my latest activities was on other parts of the world.
Meantime, I never stopped thinking about how we can make projects sustainable proliferation mechanisms that do not constantly request funds from the treasury. Soon, I will be able to share some interesting ideas that sustainable and scalable.
