Small Grant: A Nounify day at local autism School

//UPDATE//

On 26th Oct with the support from NounsDAO / NSFW, Nounsinsg was able to execute and complete this prop. Nounify a local autism school - St Andrew’s Autism Centre.

St Andrew’s Autism Centre is a non-profit organization that provide education, training and care for person on the autism spectrum. Majority of their students are on the severe end of the autism spectrum, meaning they require more care and aid.

What was delivered

  1. Nounish Gift Bags which contain:
    a. 30 Days of Nouns
    b. Coloring material

  2. Hama beads set

What was done
After consulting with the school’s teachers and coaches, instead of conducting games which could be tough for the student as they are on the severe end of the autism spectrum, simple art & craft activities would be more suitable and beneficial instead. The school have thus requested hama beads where they are able to conduct art & craft programme for the students.

During our OTG activation at St Andrew, Nounsinsg not only delivered the supply but also participated and help out in the school’s first hama beads art & craft with the students. In total Nounsinsg have donated >10,000 hama beads; this enable the school to conduct this art & craft programme throughout this year and the next benefiting more than 300 over students.

Media

Once again huge thank you to NounsDAO / NSFW for funding this activation and giving Nounsinsg another chance to contribute and build for Nouns.
