With Eth fluctuating the ask will be a bit more now. We budgeted for $110000 hard costs and then Nouncil asked for around 20 eth global marketing budget to be added on top. The 20 eth can be kept in a multisig for when it is needed over 24 months. The $110000 will be put into a South African bank account and deployed as it is needed. ie for rental expenses over 36 months. We are happy to be 100% transparent with expenditure & balance sheet reports at the DAO’s request and send this to Maty. The budget is there for specific line-items and transparency is important.
COSTS:
- 10 Eth for production management costs, merchandising & local content creation. (retro funding & upfront costs)
- 20 Eth for global marketing, strategic partnerships & paid advertising over 24 months (This can be deployed by the DAO in a multi-sig over time, it is not needed upfront).
- 22 Eth for 100 oak barrels, spirits & labor. (upfront costs)
- 50 Eth for the facility infrastructure that will produce & house the barrels for 3 years (This amount will be kept in a bank account that can be viewed upon request by the DAO as it will be used to pay monthly expenses over a period of 36 months).
Total ask: 102 Eth
