Since this is an early stage personal project and not a formal proposal yet, I’m posting this first step here in Uncategorized.
I hope to share my progress step by step with the community.
Hello Nouns DAO community,
I am Maps (M.Nishi), a creator and entrepreneur from Japan.
First of all, I would like to mention:
I am Japanese and not very fluent in English.
I am using translation tools to write this post, so please excuse any strange wording or small mistakes. I hope my message comes through clearly.
Also, I understand that the posting guidelines on Discourse may have shifted recently, and I’m not completely sure if this kind of post is perfectly aligned.
But I decided to take the first step and post anyway. I hope you will understand my intention.
Today, I would like to share the first step of a project I am dedicating my life to.
This project will unfold through 100 steps.
I will not reveal the final goal yet — because the journey itself is part of the project.
This is Step 1.
The Concept
Are we really able to fully visualize the real world?
Buildings under construction, urban landscapes, aging infrastructure — the information we see every day is fragmented, outdated, or surface-level.
What if we could change that?
I aim to create a system where videos and data captured by real people can be automatically transformed into real-time 3D environments — an open “Second Reality” that anyone can explore.
This project will progress through three main phases:
Phase 1:
Provide a practical service for the real estate and construction industries, enabling builders and agents to easily turn smartphone videos into 3D walkthroughs that can be shared via simple URLs.
Phase 2:
Develop a cloud-based, self-service platform where anyone can upload videos and automatically generate metaverse spaces, with URLs that can be shared.
The service will expand beyond real estate to other industries and individual users.
Phase 3:
Enable people around the world to submit street-level, landscape, and surrounding videos, which will be automatically converted into a real-time metaverse.
The vision is like an open, DAO-driven version of Google Street View — updated in real time.
AI will analyze infrastructure, perform city simulations, support education, and enable public infrastructure experiments.
Contributors will receive token incentives, and the DAO will govern this global “Second Earth” platform.
This is a DAO-powered, real-time global metaverse project.
Why am I doing this?
Now, I would like to share a personal story.
I am a beginner golfer who only plays once a month.
One month, I achieved a hole-in-one during a round.
And the following month, in another round, I achieved another hole-in-one.
The probability of this happening is said to be one in tens or even hundreds of millions.
Soon after this rare luck, I faced the opposite:
I was diagnosed with cancer and underwent two surgeries.
Good fortune and misfortune. Miracle and hardship.
Experiencing both in such a short time deeply changed my perspective.
“I want to dedicate the rest of my life to building something that can serve the world.”
“And I believe the open spirit of DAOs is the perfect environment for this kind of project.”
That is why I am here now.
Step 1 – My first action
Many DAO projects start by seeking funding.
But I want to take a different approach.
I will first invest my own resources to establish a legal entity in a UAE Free Zone.
Why UAE? Why set up a company?
I will explain this in more detail in Step 2.
On sharing this idea openly
I understand that posting an idea like this in an open forum means that someone might try similar approaches.
However, this project is born from my personal experiences and life story.
I will continue building it step by step, staying true to that story.
And if this idea inspires others or leads to new projects,
I believe that is also a beautiful part of the DAO ecosystem.

At this stage, I am not seeking funding.
I would simply be very happy if this project resonates with anyone here.

Each interaction will help shape the next steps of this 100-step project.
With the power of the DAO, I hope to move forward step by step toward creating a new, shared reality for the world.
